I am looking to expand the functionality of my booking system that we use to schedule spaces in our venue.

At present when a booking is made it asks for participants. I am looking to change the participants' field to instead be a "clickable link" which then goes into a customer record and stores customers information in a searchable database.

We have a number of repeat customers and want to build up an exportable database of them. And by clicking on the "participants" area we should be able to select/find a customer.

A customer needs name, address, phone, email, and organisation fields. Ideally with an area for notes, but not essential.

This is just a test system so don't be afraid of using it to understand whats needed.

It's important that notes are made on how to install the "expansion" into the booked system so that if we re-deploy the system we can redeploy the expansion.

Your demo does not have a way to add a new reservation so I used the one on BookedScheduler.com. I'm not sure I understand what you want to be done. Do you want the present system of adding participants to be replaced by one in which the person making the reservation can manually add participants that are not yet users on the system so that when the link is clicked, they can be entered into the database and become users?

  Hi There, I want to replace the "Participants" section with one that loads a CRm type record. That could be an individual or a company, but the specific details of the company and therefore a searchable list would be in another table. Basically, over time we want to be able to build a customer database so that while adding bookings we add in new clients and their basic details so we can go back to them and use them again and again.
