I need some animations for my game
I sent an attached image of current temporary animations I'm using which I want to replace.
The animations I need are as follows:
1. Main character:
* Main character is a cartoon Arabian wolf wearing traditional Saudi (or bedouin) attire, this includes the headwear and body wear (check attached image for reference).
* Main character must look like an Arabian wolf not a normal wolf (check attached image for reference)
*the shmagh (Arabic headwear) wolf is wearing is wrapped around is face (like a hood) shading upper part of his face so that the eyes appear glowing underneath the shade of the shmagh.
* Main character must have following positions
a. idle : the wolf in this position is simply facing forward towards the camera and blinking (glowing eyes in a separate sprite), 2 frame loop animation that gives the character cartoon like quality.
b. reload: the wolf reloads his gun then points towards the required angle or shoot (2 or so sprites en enough)
c. aim: the wolf is in stand by ready to shoot, here there are 8 angles to which he points (15,30,45,60,120,135,150,165) degrees.
d. shoot: for each of the above 9 angles a shooting animation (3 to 5 frames) where it shows quite clearly the gun is shot (maybe some fire and smoke) and send a shock wave to his body and clothes.
e. block: holds gun in front of him towards the camera as a form of block from enemy attack. (1 sprite is enough)
g. faint: here he looks really tired and beat down, this is where players HP reaches zero, he’s leaning on his gun to help him sit, breathing heavily. This will be idle when player HP is low (4 sprites will animate it at 4fps or so)
2. Falcon: (256x256)
random bird movements, & holds wing up high (to hold flashlight)
3. Anvil: (256x256)
just an anvil or some type of machinery for crafting guns. (use your imagination for this one)
4. Fire: (256x256)
Fire loop 10 or so frames
5. unlock (128x128)
bouncy cartoonish lock and unlock animation (above main character)
6. bird (enemy): (256x256)
bird flaps its wings just once, and end frame must be similar to the given image (total animation 3 or so frames)
art design (IMPORTANT):
minimalist art design **MUST** be in harmony to the background of the game, and NOT look out of place.
image crop multiple of 2, for example 2,4,8,16,32,64 and so forth.
If an image is a rectangle (for example main character idle, then a suitable resolution in this case would be 512x256
I want to see the animation in action after it’s complete (on the background) before choosing a winner , most importantly the main wolf character in all his shooting angle positions.
Must have a “badass” kinda feeling to the character.
doesn’t have to be high frame rate, few sprites are ok as long as animation is consistent with background style.
I you have any question do not hesitate to ask I will give as much details about this as I can
(Please do not ask for a higher prize as this is my budget for now.)
the wolf is always in a sitting position, and he doesn't have to have a human muscular body, but rather more of a theatrical heavy clothes and wide shoulders while sitting in front of the camp. (imagine a Dracula or Batman with glowing eyes)
this is not a plantformer game, it's a hunting game where character is sitting near a campfire and shooting around ducks near him.
animation doesn't require walking or standing.
