Competition:

This is an interior design & competition to design an indoor and outdoor spaces of a rooftop. The rooftop is on top of a villa and total space of approximately 330 square meters.

Rooftop Layout:
As you walk in there is an apartment with a large open area currently it has a bathroom, kitchen and a large living area.

Additionally, there is a 1 bedroom.
You will need to treat this area as a full 1-bedroom apartment, it should contain all amenities, storage as a luxury independent apartment.
Indoor area must achieve the following objectives
- Bathroom to be kept as is
- Kitchen can be moved around, Center kitchen can be accommodated
- Living area suitable for 7-10 guests
- Dining area (6-8 person)
- Shelving units for kitchenware and other items,
- Laundry Area
- Explore replacing wall separating Living room and Terrace area 1 with Ceiling to floor Glass Doors.
- Work Area with Desk and Chairs
- Flexibility with lighting is needed.
- There is a sky light in the roof. Please check the images.
- Bedroom as well needs to be designed.

There are two outdoor terraces, each is approximately 110 square meters

Terrace Area 1 (110 square meters) = Facing the main road

The idea to have an outdoor terrace which should meet the following objectives
- Seating area
- Outdoor Dining area
- Multifunctioning bar/canapes area
- Firepit/BBQ Area
- Some areas can be shaded. We do like wooden shaded areas with plants covering them.
- Balance usage of greenery and plants is encouraged
- Flooring can be tiled / raw cement /
- Outdoor Cinema

Terrace Area 2 (110 square meters) – Facing Neighbors
This can be a multi-function area which can include
- Workshop / storage area
- Workout area (Gym) / Kids Play area
- Be Creative

Feel Free, Be Creative, You have the right to change anything and everything at the apartment, including walls, doors, ceiling, floor, the only thing of course you cannot change are the structure beams.
