The amateur radio station of the 2019 World Scout Jamboree requires a design for a commemorative patch/badge and coin. The winning design will be used on both and is expected to be round. All other options are open to the designer.
The amateur radio call sign is NA1WJ, standing for North America's 1st World Jamboree. The call sign logo that is currently used on our website, social media channels, and QSL card are attached as required for the patch/badge and coin design. The call sign must be included in the design using the current font/design.
Also attached are the logos and design elements provided by the World Scout Jamboree. You can find the full brand guidelines at https://www.2019wsj.org/marketing-resource/brand-guidelines/ These guidelines include color options, jamboree logos, and font recommendations. This design project is not restricted to these fonts or colors. They can serve as recommendations. We have also provided the color palette in the files section.
This is a design for a round patch/badge and coin. It needs to include the call sign "NA1WJ" and "2019 World Scout Jamboree" at a minimum. Other design elements as shared including the Jamboree logo may also be included at the designers option. "North America" and "Amateur Radio Station" are other options. We have added examples of a coin and a patch to the files.
The final selected design must be delivered in an Adobe Illustrator as well as a layered Photoshop file with all rights granted to the K2BSA Amateur Radio Association, which is running the NA1WJ operation.
