I run an online wine retail business in Singapore specialising in South African wines, and offering great value on world-class, award winning South African wines. I would like to develop copy for my website to communicate:
1. Our passion for South African wines one of the most underrated best wines in the world, and our enthusiasm to share this with others;
2. We offer value on great wines, given the exorbitant price of wine (alcohol in general) in Singapore.
3. We can source any wine from South Africa on behalf of our customers for special orders

I am currently in the middle of transforming and re-positioning the business from a bulk/wholesale wine seller to a retail business with a 'members/ by-invitation' section that allows members to join our bulk orders where they enjoy even better wholesale prices.

The tone I'd like to evoke is:
1. 'We know our South African wines very well' but without sounding like a know-it-all.
2. Fun, friendly, approachable, relaxed, always keen to share a good deal.
3. South African winemakers have a long wine-making history but they don't always conform to rules (unlike the French), they are more free-spirited and I'd like our brand to come across this way.

Hi, Jonathan, yes you have the first part right. I have been informally ordering wine shipments (no profit, just sharing the bulk order with friends to group together and reach a volume, split costs, etc...) I turned this into a business with Wine To Share, getting people to join the Bulk Order so that they can get the wine at 'wholesale' prices vs retail (wine sold at retail in Singapore is very expensive). However, I am finding that people don't have the space to store more than 12 bottles of wine at a time (space constraints in Singapore). Hence, I am moving towards a retail business model. BUT I still have the Bulk Order available for regular/loyal customers and friends who want to participate and have the space to store lots of wine. My focus will be the RETAIL side now, and the Bulk Order is by request/invitation.

Hello -- I just want to see if I have this right. Since the early 2000's, you have been informally ordering wine shipments from South Africa for yourself and your friends. Now you are selling access to wholesale prices on South African wine in the form of online memberships? I ask because if this is correct it's an expansion of your wholesale operation rather than a repositioning. I just want to get it right before I start writing.
