Contest Brief

I'm starting a clothing company named Battle Rattle Apparel. The term "Battle Rattle" refers to military armor, guns, equipment that is worn by the warrior going into battle. I'm looking for a logo design that is both complex and simple. Something that captures the meaning of Battle Rattle. Something that is strong and deadly looking. I like the idea of skulls, armor, gas masks, helmets, guns crossed in the back. I like the image to have not the many colors. Maybe even all black or a single color. I've uploaded something images I've seen on the internet I like. However, this logo has to be original and bold. Let me know what you can do and good luck everyone.

Please have fun and feel free to go outside the things that I have wrote. Use your freedom in this project to do something amazing. I look forward to awarding for the logo that is picked. Good luck.

Wow. I have seen some really good work. I'm truly amazed! I've rejected quiet a few and it is not because of the quality of the art. It's due to the style I'm looking for. The ones I've picked at the top are more of what I'm looking for, for a few reasons. For those that are having a hard time meeting the style I'm looking for, think of it like this. Most good brands have a simple logo that can be easily matched and recognized. I want my logo to have the same kind of recognition. After the logo process some of the images that I've rejected as logo I can definitely use as part of the apparel but not as brand recognition. Again thank you and keep it up we are almost there.

  You are getting closer to the idea I'm looking for. However, the sketches look very rough. They need to be both bold and simplistic. These will become, T-Shirts, Decals, embroidered. All sorts of things will be done with the logo.

  Ben as you may notice your first design did not get rejected. I like the idea but it is very busy. It's hard to recognize a logo that is too complex. And yes your samples have been original. However, there were quiet a few that were 100% copy right infringement. The some others showed.

So far these two versions not too bad but not the style I'm looking for. I want the logo to look evil and good at the same time. The gas mask look is not so good.
