I have been cheated quite a few time here. I wasn't aware of such facts so I believe them blindly and they (Employer) cheat me and get their work done but didn't give me anything. One of them tries to warn me of bad review so my profile will become negative.

I got payment, but can't withdraw it due to some hold on payment. Does this happen to me?

You need to tell the Freelancer.com via chat. I have a problem with my client before, then I ask Freelancer.com to cancel my project and it works. You need to ask them few times, though. And sometimes you need to try couple times before you can connect with the customer service.
That's a crime! You have the proof for reporting that client from the message, so get few pictures of them and send them as proof when the CS asked for proof.
